Civic Beautification

Civic Beautification

We are an active group of adult volunteers that maintains community gardens and planters in North Scituate and Hope, RI. You will see our work in Scituate at the Blue Star Garden and Civil War Monument (flanking the Congregational Church), the Wildflower and Flagpole Gardens (near the gazebo), and the Bell Garden (in front of Smithville Cemetery). The club also plants and maintains container gardens along West Greenville Road and at Colvin Park in Hope.

Gentians craft holiday decorations for the town and donate flower arrangements to local libraries. We participate in annual Arbor Day tree-planting.
